 SIMPLICITY

Let's look at our Kata and techniques for  what they really are. The simplest and most efficient path from Point A to Point B. What you see is what it is. There is no secret or hidden meaning.

For example, a  down block is executed in the same way that a carpenter raises and lowers a hammer to drive a nail and the same way a baseball player winds up a bat and swings it at a ball. Gentle wind-up and a hard, fast swing. In the Kata your
hands can be used as tools, such as a hammer or a knife.
