The First Movement In Fukyugata Nidan

The key for success in any fight is a quick and good block.

A good block proves to you that you are without fear and it's a surprise to the attacker.... and from this moment it's a short way to winnig the fight.

In Fukyugata Ni it may be a little bit complicated to make the first block, because it's an advanced level technique.

From the side of your eye (using your peripheral vision), you see the attack.

From the beginning yoi position you make 3 movements together: right leg move 45 degrees forward and at the same time your head moves towards the attacker while making an X with your arms to protect your face, you then complete the high block using your hips to turn very quickly all your body face and high block against the high Zuki incoming to your face.

This is really an advanced technique and you have to practice these movements many times in half speed and power to achieve a great block.

From here the way to win the fight is very short with s step followed by a great ZUKI (punch) TO THE FACE OF THE ATTACKER.
